Ryoko is where a love of the past meets a love of the future: a soundtrack-like blend of sci-fi, space fantasy, electronic, orchestral, and industrial music, made without a film.

The original pieces were composed from 1997 to 1999 on an Amiga 1200 using OctaMED Soundstudio, with a mix of 8-bit and 16-bit sounds. The 2010 remaster regenerated them at 48 kHz, removed clicks and pops, added warmth, and prepared 24-bit FLAC masters.

The songs began from sounds and notes, often letting one random key lead to the next. Their direction can change sharply as they progress. A later Amiga-made bonus track completes the album.
